How To Use
Slowly introduce DigestiveEQ over 14 days
- Days 1 to 4: ¼ serve
- Days 5 to 8: ½ serve
- Days 9 to 14: ¾ serve
- Day 14 onwards: full serve
Serving Size: 65g or 1 scoop (included in pack)
Daily serve recommendations:
- Up to 200kg bodyweight: ⅔ scoop
- 200-400kg: 1 ½ scoops
- 400-600kg: 2 scoops
- 600+: 3 scoops
We recommend the daily serving to be fed over two feeds, preferably morning and evening. If not feasible the daily dose can be fed in one feed. Our very elderly mini mare is on digestive eq and her health is great, she used to have the occasional upset stomach and be off her feed,now she eats all her feeds and trots up to the fence.

When I first got him over a year ago he was a ridiculously fussy eater and barely interested in his feed. As a TB I need him to keep weight on while in competition work and to be able to build muscle so it was very difficult at first to find the right feeds with a good amount of nutrition, that he would eat. Combined with digestive EQ and then HP later on, he has been thriving and now eats everything and not fussy at all. Highly rate this product.

Both my mares have been on digestive eq for two years now they are on 24/7 turnout and coping with seasonal changes well they are on hill country and physically fit I use equi bind during times of high sporen counts and find that it prevents my older mares pastern dermatitis and my young QH is less itchy These girls are both barefoot and I’ve noticed an improvement in hoof wall quality

These three ponies were a challenge. 2 with chronic laminitis and one very anxious and difficult. A combination of putting them on a grass free track and feeding them soaked hay along with daily Dustan BetaBeet with 1/3 cup of Digestive Eq and also Dunstan All 4 Feet has resulted in healthy energetic ponies with perfect poo everyday.

I have had my beautiful horse "Frank" for the past seven years. From the very beginning he has had what I call "runny farts" which would leave awful green dribble all the way down his back legs and tail. It was pretty bad some days, and being a grey, it was so noticeable and horrible for him of course. I have tried all kinds of "gut health" products, everything from prebiotics to probiotics, and all manner of others in between, but nothing has really helped. Then someone suggested Digestive EQ. This is our boy Frank. Frank arrived pretty lean, we got him straight onto Poseidon EQ in his feed of chaff and Mitavite with salt. The photos are 30 days apart. Frank is gaining weight steadily and feeling great. Winter is always a hard time to out weight on, but with good gut health and feed it's a lot easier. We use Poseidon for all our horses as a daily addition. We believe it helped a lot while we transitioned our older mare back to being barefoot after several years in shoes before we got her. Her feet are now barefoot and looking so much better! Healthy gut healthy horses all round we believe :-).

I got my boy Mauri in February and started him on Digestive EQ straight away after having my other TB on it since August 2024. Both boys are doing amazing now. This product works really well for my horse. As an ex harness horse he came to me off the track about 5 years ago , extremely nervous etc, and with behavioral issues . He was diagnosed a few months later by the vet with probable stomach ulcers and a definite positive test for hind gut ulcers. He was on various other products with some success , and we finally tried Poseiden IQ after a few years, as it sounded good and looked to be more cost effective. Also a New Zealand product , which ticks another box. Now after a year or so the horse has never been better gut-wise and he seems much happier with life. Very happy with it !

The success I have had this season competing in Endurance with my OTTB Good Country, has been phenomenal. A major component of our success is directly attributable to a good feeding regime and I can say without a doubt using EQ has been so important. Keeping him healthy and happy before, during and after competing is why he has won all but 3 events out of 12. The pinnacle was winning a 120km event. Both my horses have changed coat colours getting deeper coloured coats. My plain chestnut lad has gone almost liver chestnut, his colour is that deep. It’s helped both horses with reducing the amount of feed I need to feed for the same results and has helped with the long periods of travel keeping their guts settled. I PH tested my horses poop at a large event recently, my horse was one of very few with near neutral poop. Most others had acidic results and I credit that the the Posieden product. Great product so far. Really like it!

Digestive has helped my young gelding massively he’s no where near as reactive/ sensitive his bucking has settled right down. He gained a lot of condition and his coat is really shiny. He doesn’t stress anywhere near as much either. People always comment on how well he’s looking. As part of the research and design phase of our digestive gut health supplement, we initially conducted trials with an early formulation. Yes it is. Like everything with laminitic horses, introduce it slowly, just to be on the safe side. Laminitic can be unpredictable, so slow is always best when adding something new to their diet.
Yes, DigestiveEQ can be safely fed to pregnant and lactating mares to support their gut health and potentially also their milk production. It should be fine for foals to nibble on a bit of their mother's feed containing DigestiveEQ. However, as there aren't studies specifically aimed at foals for a majority of the ingredients, we can't recommend giving it as part of a foal's feed.
As DigestiveEQ includes ingredients specifically designed to address gut health, it should be safe to feed alongside most other feeds and supplements. You may find that with the addition of DigestiveEQ and a balanced diet with vitamins and minerals, your horse may not need additional supplements. For example, DigestiveEQ contains a good amount of calcium and magnesium, so if you are already feeding another supplement with those in it, you may find you can cut it out. No need to waste money on over-supplementing.
