We used it for the first time at a competition. I followed the instructions and used it in the few days of lead up and then in competition day. He was soft, relaxed, responsive (not dull or lazy), attentive, chilled out and cuddly. A lot of people wanted to take him home with them because he was so lovely to be around. Tried this for the first time today and will definitely be using it again!!! Usually my horse is tense and doesn’t want to stand, today we did our first show. I had done the inhand and he was happy and calm, I knew I had ridden coming up after and once I was finished I gave him the paste an hour before we went into our ridden classes. He was so calm, listened and was just a pleasant horse. Another horse that was within 5m of us reared up, and bolted leaving the rider on the ground. Usually my horse would have bolted and lost his mind, today he just kept walking calmly past. Definitely recommend it!!! I will be getting it again as it made what I thought would be a stressful day turn into an enjoyable day. So enjoyable we walked away with champion ridden.

Wont leave home without it! From the stallions to the foals, everyone travels and settles much better away from home. Even the longer trips over the youngstock shows, our youngsters were able to step into the ring fresh and feeling great.

This is Seizing the Moment aka Mickey an ex Hong Kong Nz Tb. There’s a 6 month difference between the pictures. The top is the day I tried him, the bottom is at his 3rd ever hunt 2 weeks ago. He loves the Poseidon products. He gets Digestive HP and Equibind twice a day and he gets Stress Paste every time we go on an adventure. We wouldn’t be without the products now.

I've used Stress Paste for over seven years on a range of different horses and found it effective on all of them. I had a 3 day event camp. Our first ever and we were both nervous, however I'm sure the paste which I used before and in the first day worked well as I didn't use on second and noticed his anxiety increase. Hence he went back on the paste for the rest of the weekend. A much more level headed horse.

We’ve used Stress paste in a variety of scenarios- losing a loved member of our herd, the arrival of a new herd mate, trips away and Farrier day (combined with mares in season!). Calming through gut support has had noticeable results - great product and user friendly.

Helped at our first competition in over a year
My horse has never travelled in a float - she's only traveled in trucks so the loading and travelling frontwards and unloading was foreign to her. When I first traveled with her in the float she lathered up so much that I had grey horse not a bay. Then i used your protect - and wow what a change - she was very relaxed traveling and off loading backwards - no lathering. So the product worked - the only downside is the syringe does have a clear indication of dosage - no markings We are trying it again for a show this weekend
I have used stress paste with my mare, everytime we compete, whether its a long or short floating trip. I find it reduces her nerves, encourages her to drink, and overall she is a much calmer happier horse. She is also given digest EQ daily, and stress dosage when competing.
Had my state show use the paste the night before then next morning was a little fresh but settled so well in the ring to take out yearling filly state reserve champion only her 4 th show so very happy with this paste Highly recommend it😉😉
Maximousse is his competition name, but he is just Moose to his friends and owner, Andrew. We struggled with Moose's condition, as he not only wouldn't stop growing, but a case of 'summer sores' & two hefty doses of wormers we now realise left him with ulcers. Thanks to Pryde's representative, Orla, we were introduced to Linda & Poseidon products. Oh happy days. Moose went on to EQ to stabilise his gut problems, with the explanation of why his bad behavior was representative of the pain he was experiencing. The next issue was Moose's attitude to 'work'. Once around the arena and Moose was over it. He would run backwards, sideways & buck, he had 'napping' down to a fine art, and at 18hh he had the size to back it up. I used the stress paste to calm my big boys nerves floating and while being out. I usually have alot of trouble getting him onto the float and when he is out he will shake and cant stand still. Using the paste he walked on the float first go and was very calm out and about around other horses. even stood still to be able to get a photo! Definitely recommend and i will be using this again! Only issue i had was trying to push it out the tube especially when my horse is so tall and isn't the biggest fan of getting a paste.
I have been using the stress paste ever since it hit the shelves. I have found by giving in to my racehorses leading up to race day helps provide the younger ones with a good experience as they begin their racing careers. I have found it be be great for travelling and also for recovery.

Finally got to use the Stress Paste last weekend. I used it on Ruby (TB mare) whom at shows is fine when we are there. Floating is where the stress is, I have tried other products. This time she was a dream. Gave full dose going and 1/2 on the way home. Stress paste now will go everywhere with us. I also use the EQ and VM for both horses.
This pony came back to me a year ago fully stressed and traumatised. After the ongoing help of Linda and use of Digestive EQ, VM and now stress paste I have a very happy pony.
Absolutely love this product. I used for the first time last week, after a float accident 8 months ago my boy has been really nervous floating, he was honestly perfect both times. Almost impossible to administer with the syringe provided and dose is too high to administer in feed. Even heating to semi- liquefy it, it was almost impossible to push out the syringe even when the catheter tip was chopped to widen it. Messy and frustrating. Maybe the preloaded syringes work okay but wouldn't buy the pouch again. Couldn't give enough to evaluate efficacy.

A couple of tips that can make the pouch format easier: - Warm the pouch in a mug of warm (not hot) water for a few minutes to soften the paste evenly. - Gently massage the pouch to soften the mixture - If dosing directly isn’t working, you can split the serve between two small, damp feeds to help it mix through without needing to push a full serve at once. Stress Paste is quite a nutrient-dense formula, which can make the consistency thicker than a standard paste, and this can vary with temperature. The pre-loaded syringes were created for this exact reason, as they make dosing much easier and far less messy. Your feedback on the pouch is incredibly valuable and has been passed on to our product team. We never want frustration to get in the way of supporting your horse, so please feel free to reach out if you'd like help organising the syringe format instead. 🐴 We are a small team who truely care about your horse and would love to be able to help you with this. No, Stress Paste does not sedate your horse. Stress Paste works by supporting the functions affected most by stressful events. By supporting gut health, hydration, and muscle recovery, Stress Paste helps horses stay comfortable, focused, and calm without dulling their responses.
Stress Paste provides buffering support from magnesium hydroxide and pectin for approximately 4 hours. If you give two doses within 24 hours, the remaining ingredients will continue working throughout that period. Yes, you can use more than one tube of StressPaste per day in situations like prolonged travel, competition, illness, ulcer treatment, extreme weather, or endurance events. In extreme cases, use up to 1.5 tubes per day for horses under 400kg and up to 3 tubes per day for horses weighing above 400kg. (This serving rate should not exceed two consecutive weeks.)
Stress Paste can be used daily during periods of acute stress, such as travel, competition, illness, or recovery. If used for more than five days, it’s best to taper off gradually by reducing to a half dose for two days, then a quarter dose for four days to allow your horse’s natural vitamin C production to normalize.
No, for one-off use, the full serve should be given at once to achieve maximum effect. Splitting the dose is not necessary in these situations.
